This core course in the graduate program examined a variety of theories and concepts aimed at understanding the behaviour of individuals and groups in health care organizations.
The aim of the course was to provide students with the opportunity to critically evaluate methodologies used to develop our understanding of behaviour in health care organizations. The course focused on and applied selected theories aimed at strengthening the analytic and behavioural human relations skills of the student. New trends in organizational behaviour were examined in the context of individual and group relationships in nursing and health care, and the impact on organizational effectiveness.
